Shri Vishnu college of Pharmacy was established in 1997 with an aim to impart quality education with ethical values. It is the first pharmacy college affiliated to Andhra University, Visakhapatnam. Our college is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with ‘A’ grade and B. Pharm.program is accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA).

The college has made great strides in meeting specific needs of both students and industry, exploring new frontiers in pharmaceutical sciences and practice.As stated in the vision and mission statement of the college, we strive for high quality education, training and research focussed on lifelong learning. By incorporating several learning tools, we would gain the students attention to improve their academic performance. Apart from conventional teaching, college organizes seminars, conferences, workshops, and guest lectures from Industry and Academia to enrich student’s knowledge and skills to meet the current needs of healthcare sector. This benchmarking has been recognized and the institution has got autonomous status in the year 2016. With this autonomous status, program curricula are modified as per the industry standards and requirements.

In addition to academics, we do concentrate on personality development and extracurricular activities by trained physical directors in our state of art facilities – gymnasium, indoor & outdoor sports complexes, cultural theatres, swimming pool etc. for men and women. Qualified faculty members committed for excellence in teaching/ research and outstanding infrastructure remain as the main pillars for the college. To keep up the pace with the changing realities of the corporate world, Shri Vishnu Educational Society has established Vishnu Educational Development and Innovation Centre (VEDIC) in Hyderabad to train our faculty with advanced teaching and research methodologies.
