Conducting on campus/off campus interviews:

SVCP organizes frequent on campus placement drives by inviting corporate pharmaceutical companies. Prior to interviews, our students are well trained through campus Recruitment Training (CRT). Preamble is taken from the students and it will be valued a lot during placement drives. Students are informed well in advance for effective planning and preparation.

Internship to Students

As per AICTE/PCI, B.Pharm. students should undergo internship training for one month during their program. SVCP has a number of industry collaborations for student’s internship to carryout onsite training. Pharm.D students are doing add-on training program in reputed corporate hospitals in metropolitan cities for their better exposure of clinical pharmacy skills.

Industrial visits

Training and Placement team facilitates student industry visits to observe the facilities and good practices of Pharma industries to increase their thinking abilities for the right professional orientation.

Conducting motivational/guest lectures on career opportunities:

SVCP has always been providing the up-to-date career options in Health care as well as imparting the skills prerequisite in order to enter into these careers. We also invite expert personnel from various industries to conduct seminars and guest lecture sessions regarding various aspects of getting into industries.

Overview of Training & Placement Cell

The placement and training cell functions under the supervision of a full time placement officer and operates all around the year to arrange campus interviews by the companies. It plays a very crucial role in counseling and guiding the students for their successful placement.

Placement and training cell of our college functions with the main objective of shaping the engineering students to be readily deployable by industry like yours. The main functions of placement cell include.

  1.  To Assist students develop/clarify their academic and career interests, and their short and long -term goals     through individual counseling and group sessions.
  2. To Assist students develop and implement successful job search strategies.
  3. To Work with faculty members, department Heads and administration to integrate career planning and academic curriculum as well as coordinate Project Work/ Summer Training/internship programs.
  4. To Assist students for industrial training at the end of fourth and sixth semester.
  5. To Assist employers to achieve their hiring goals.
  6. To Serve the community by providing access to our campus wide activities & career resources.
  7. To Empower students with life-long career decision-making skills.
  8. To Provide resources and activities to facilitate the career planning process.
  9. To Act as a link between students, alumni and the employment community.
  10. Up gradation of the students communication skills and personality development by inviting experts from outside for seminars/classes.
  11. To Assist our students in obtaining final placement in reputed companies.
