Pharmacy is the health profession that links the health sciences with the chemical sciences and it is charged with ensuring the safe and effective use of pharmaceutical drugs. The science and technology associated with pharmacy has progressed enormously over the past few decades. Significant advances in understanding of diseases have necessitated the need to optimize the drug therapy.
In view of rapid expansion of the chemical and pharmaceutical industries during last decade in Andhra Pradesh state, India, the need for starting of M.Pharm course in our College was felt and as a result, M. Pharm in Pharmaceutical Technology was first started in 2005. Later we have started M. Pharm - Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry during the year 2007-08 and
M. Pharm - Pharmaceutical Analysis in 2008-09.
