Shri Vishnu college of Pharmacy, is Located in Bhimavaram, the central part of coastal Andhra, is famous and is generally well known for commercial activities due to its rich surroundings. However, recently it has also become a centre for academic activities attracting many Professional Institutions of higher learning.

Shri Vishnu College of Pharmacy was established in the year 1997-98 in the rural back drop of Bhimavaram by Sri Vishnu Educational Society, with an intake of 40 at undergraduate level. Subsequently in 2005 introduced the M. Pharmacy course in Pharmaceutical technology with an intake of eight students, Pharmacology and Pharmaceutical Chemistry in 2007 with an intake of ten students in each branch and Pharmaceutical Analysis and Quality Assurance in 2008 with an intake of ten students and 6 years Pharm. D programme in 2008 with an intake of thirty students.

Our college is accridiated by NBA-AICTE for its excellence in education and teachnig methodologies. It has been recognized as a research centre by our affiliating University, Andhra University-Visakhapatnam and some scholars are working on different projects for pursuing their Ph.D.

Common facilities for Sports & Games, Stadium, Auditorium, Good Land scaping, Temples Green lawns and trees in the campus create an excellent ambience, conducive for academic environment.
